The lockdown that was imposed due to Covid-19 outbreak has resulted in an indefinite postponement of many films. This would mean that actors will find it tough to adjust their schedules once the shootings are resumed.
Incidentally, ‘Sarkaaru Vaari Paata’ and ‘Pushpa’ are two of the films that have been impacted due to the lockdown. The makers of these films have been trying to finalize the villains in the respective projects but that is proving to be too tough of a task.
The likes of Upendra, Sudeep Kichcha, and Kaushal were in consideration for antagonist role in Sarkaaru Vaari Paata. But neither of them were finalized as they will have to sort out their current commitments.
Same is the case with ‘Pushpa’ as well. The makers got in touch with Bobby Simha and Vijay Sethupathi. Vijay agreed to star in the film but opted out of it later, citing dates issue as the reason.
Interestingly enough, the makers of Sarkaaru Vaari Paata and Pushpa are leaving no stone unturned to finalize the villains for their respective films. It appears to be that zeroing in on antagonists is turning out to be a big problem for both these A-listers.
