The upcoming Lok Sabha elections are leaving every political party in the nail-biting and decisive state. As a part of releasing the list of party candidates, the Congress has unveiled the seventh list of its 35 candidates for the LS polls. The party also transferred Uttar Pradesh state unit chief Raj Babbar from Moradabad to Fatehpur Sikri.
The party fielded former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha member Renuka Chowdhury from Khammam, Telangana district. Also, Vikarmaditya Singh will be fighting from Jammu and Kashmir. Also, a total of 54 candidates for the Odisha Assembly election was released by the party.
Renuka has already represented twice from Khammam before and now she retains the seat. Earlier, speculation were on rife that Renuka would join BJP right before LS polls. For the elections, Namma Naggeshwara Rao from the TRS will be fighting opposite Renuka in Khammam.
Just a few days before, Renuka quoted that Khammam party workers will not keep quiet if an outsider contests from the constituency.
