Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a strong political statement in the heart of the nation today as he participated in a protest organized by the Congress party at Jantar Mantar, Delhi. The protest was held to demand the implementation of the 42% OBC reservation policy and to push for a nationwide caste census.
Speaking at the event, Revanth Reddy launched a scathing attack on the NDA government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing them of stalling key social justice initiatives. “The Congress party has always stood firmly by the demand for OBC reservations and caste-based census. But the central government continues to play political games with this sensitive and crucial issue,” he said.
The Telangana CM issued a strong warning to the Centre, asserting that if the government fails to respond to the demand for fair representation, Congress will intensify its efforts to bring about a political shift at the national level. “If Modi is unwilling to take action, then the Congress party will ensure that the BJP flag no longer flies over the Red Fort. We are committed to making Rahul Gandhi the next Prime Minister of India,” Revanth declared.
Reddy’s powerful remarks underscore the Congress party’s renewed push for social justice and reflect its growing political aggression ahead of upcoming national elections. His comments also highlight the increasing pressure on the NDA to address long-standing demands around reservation and representation.
