Revanth Reddy Holds Emergency Meet After Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor

In a significant development, the Indian Army has successfully carried out Operation Sindoor, targeting and bombing nine terrorist camps across Pakistan through precision airstrikes. The operation marks a bold response to escalating cross-border tensions, and the prevailing situation between India and Pakistan remains highly volatile.

In light of the current scenario, the Central Government has urged all states to stay vigilant and adopt precautionary measures. Responding swiftly, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has called for an emergency high-level security meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for 11 AM today at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Hyderabad. It will be attended by top-ranking officials from the state administration, police, intelligence, and emergency response teams. The core agenda is to assess the state’s security preparedness and reinforce protective measures at critical locations, including key government offices, defence establishments, and major infrastructure points.

Citizens have also been advised to remain indoors and extend full cooperation to law enforcement and security agencies. The state government is taking all necessary steps to maintain public safety during this sensitive time.

Coincidentally, Hyderabad had already been preparing for a mock airstrike drill as part of regular disaster preparedness exercises. However, last night’s real-time airstrikes by the Indian Army have shifted focus from simulation to immediate action, following a decisive blow to terror networks across the border.
