While the Sankranti festival is traditionally a time for celebrations with family and loved ones, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy remains committed to his duties without a day off.

Even on January 15, the day of Sankranti, CM Revanth Reddy was on the job, meeting with representatives of the Indian Army. The discussions focused on the speedy resolution of land-related and administrative issues between the Army and the Telangana government.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister presented several representations on behalf of the state government. He requested the Army to consider relocating the Southern Command Centre Headquarters to Hyderabad. Additionally, Revanth urged the authorities to establish a Sainik School in Telangana, highlighting that while other states have been allotted two to four Sainik Schools each, Telangana has not received even a single one in the past decade.

While the rest of the administration and the public celebrated Sankranti at home, Revanth Reddy remained actively engaged in official duties. This aligns with his earlier statement that he has not taken a single day off since assuming office as Chief Minister, demonstrating his commitment to governance and public service.
