It’s a well-known fact that the Telugu film industry often functions as a close-knit community, with a strong sense of camaraderie among actors, directors, and technicians. A testament to this unity is a popular WhatsApp group that was once buzzing with activity, as recently revealed by actor Nani.
According to Nani, this group originally included around 143 members, featuring some of the most prominent names in the industry such as Rana Daggubati, Manchu Lakshmi, and many more. It wasn’t just actors — top technicians and creatives from Tollywood were also part of this digital gathering.
The group was created with the intention of fostering collaboration, promoting films, and enhancing communication across the Telugu film fraternity. In its early days, the group served as a lively platform for sharing updates, promotional ideas, and support for each other’s projects.
However, over time, the momentum faded. Nani admitted that the group has now lost its spark, and he himself has the group on mute. “No one really texts or shares ideas anymore,” he said, implying that the original purpose of the group has gradually faded away.
While the group may no longer be active, its very existence highlights the spirit of unity and mutual support that once thrived within the Telugu film industry.
