It’s well known that Rajamouli and Baahubali makers had tried hard to rnget legendary diva Sridevi on board for Sivagami’s role in their 2-part rnmovie franchise. Rajamouli revealed in an interview that Sridevi quoted 5rn crores as her remuneration and also made other starry demands which rnwere beyond their capacity.
But here’s the other side of the rnstory. In a recent interview, controversies’ favorite child Ram Gopal rnVarma revealed that Sridevi was very keen on signing Baahubali and I hadrn spoken to her 3, 4 times regarding it. “It was Sridevi’s husband Boney rnKapoor who was on his ego trip and quoted insane remuneration and rneventually stopped Sridevi from signing the project. Sridevi didn’t knowrn anything about the negotiations,” alleged RGV.
“I never liked rnBoney. He was the main reason behind the downfall of Sridevi’s career. rnBut she had no one in her life except Boney. That’s the reason why I rncouldn’t complaint much against Boney and tried to advise her in all rnpossible ways,” RGV said. Will the Kapoor family respond to RGV’s rnallegations?
