Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film ‘Acharya’, directed by Koratala Siva, is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films in Tollywood. Having completed its entire shoot, the release of the action entertainer has been postponed due to the pandemic. However, not to disappoint the fans, the makers have been unveiling lyrical videos and interesting posters occasionally.
But the recently released Acharya Special song has been embroiled in controversy. It appears that the RMP doctors’ association has approached the police objecting to the song.
The RMP doctors’ association has recently lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the lyrics of the song, which says ‘Ededo Nimurochani Kurrollu RMPlu avuthunnaru’, have hurt their feelings. The association alleged that the lyrics of the song were meant to demean the RMP profession and hurt the sentiments of the RMPs.
In the complaint, they demanded that action be taken against the songwriter and the film director and that the song be dropped from the film. We have to see how the Acharya team responds to this issue.
