After making a debut with ‘Mehbooba’, youngster Akash Puri was all set to take the audience for a love ride with his second film ‘Romantic’. The film was almost wrapped up before the lockdown was implemented last year. The film got postponed and it has stayed in the boxes till now. The makers announced the release date but with the second wave destroying everyone’s plans, there is no update on this film.
Written and produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme is also the co-producer of ‘Romantic’ which was directed by Anil Paduri. But the film managed to get a lot of hype thanks to its glamorous posters and sensuous first song which released long back. Ketika Sharma is the heroine in this flick and she looked delightful in the posters and the first song. Senior actress Ramya Krishnan is also playing a key role in this ‘Romantic’ film.
Recently, the film stood 2nd in the list of most anticipated ‘New Indian Movies and Shows’. While Akshay’s ‘Bell Bottom’ stood first with 21.8% votes while ‘Romantic’ got 19.2% votes which makes it occupy the 2nd spot. After that, films like ‘Kurup’, ’83’ and ‘Play Back’ joined the list. Seems like the audience have a lot of curiosity about this ‘Romantic’ film from Akash Puri.
