A lot of young actors want to gain the action image right with their debut outing. This results in them facing huge debacles which sets them up for failure for the rest of their careers. But Rajeev Kanakala and Suma Kanakala’s son Roshan Kanakala made his debut with ‘Bubblegum’ and industry insiders claim that it is a good decision from him.
As we know, ‘Bubblegum’ is a youthful entertainer that caters to this current generation. It was a clever decision to take this script as it is the youth who needs to be impressed first. Roshan succeeded in that due to his ease in acting and fights. He looked good while doing dances too and his work during emotional scenes was highly convincing.
Also, the script connects with the youth as it is all about self-respect and not losing yourself in love. Ravikanth Perepu’s narration had a few flaws in his narration but the basic premise was loved by the young set of viewers. Also, Sricharan Pakala’s music worked to the film’s advantage along with aggressive promotions. With all this, Roshan Kanakala managed to get his first hit and considering the film’s budget, the movie is doing quite well at the box office as well. Ravikanth Perepu, and featuring Manasa Chaudhary as the leading lady. Thellavarithe Guruvaram and Aakashavaani is the director of photography while Vithal Kosanam is the art director. Vamsi Krishna is the screenplay consultant. Vishnu Kondur and Seri-Ganni wrote the story along with the director. ‘Thallumala’ fame, Kerala State Award Winning Editor Nishad Yusuf is part of the project.
