Roshan Meka, son of veteran Telugu actor Srikanth, is steadily carving his path in Tollywood. After making a promising debut with Nirmala Convent in 2016, produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna, Roshan took a brief hiatus before returning with Pelli Sandadi in 2021. Both films showcased his acting skills and dance prowess, earning him appreciation from audiences and critics alike. Now, he is eager for a blockbuster that can truly elevate his career.
Roshan’s upcoming sports drama, Champion, is moving forward at a rapid pace. Alongside, he has reportedly signed a new project with acclaimed director Sailesh Kolanu, known for the successful Hit franchise. Each installment of the Hit series, featuring different lead actors, became a box office success, making Sailesh one of Tollywood’s most sought-after directors.
The new venture is said to be a youthful romantic entertainer tailored to Roshan’s age and style. It will be produced by Naga Vamshi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. Roshan is expected to commence shooting for this untitled film after completing Champion.
For Champion, the prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies is investing over ₹50 Crores, a significant budget for an emerging actor. Directed by Pradeep Advaitham, the film is shaping up to be a visual spectacle with high technical standards.
With the backing of top production houses for his next two projects, Roshan is poised to make the most of this promising phase, aiming to solidify his presence and market in Tollywood.
