Rudramadevi, easily the most awaited film this summer, will finally have its audio launch on April 8th. Interestingly, the film’s producer and director Gunasekhar chose Warangal Fort as the venue for the event, as a mark of tribute to the glorious history of the erstwhile Kakatiya Kingdom. The film’s audio has been composed by none other than Maesto Ilayaraja.
In the film, Anushka reprises the role of Rudramadevi, the ferocious warrior princess of the Kakatiyas. Rudramadevi is the first ever 3D stereographic period film made in India and Gunasekhar has been working hard with his international crew to make the film a memorable experience to the audience.
Apparently, Gunasekhar is planning to invite the Telangana CM KCR for the audio launch. Earlier, KCR expressed his happiness over Gunasekhar’s efforts to recreate the Kakatiya might and was even positive about giving the film tax exemption in the state. Let us wait and see the kind of history Gunasekhar’s Rudramadevi will create with its historical tale.
