Bollywood’s elite filmmaker Karan Johar has been in the film industry for two and half decades. On his 25th anniversary in the industry, he is arriving with his directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, this movie is arriving with a lot of expectations on 28th July. The teaser showcased the grandeur which the film is offering and the official trailer which came out a few hours back revealed what to expect from the movie in terms of content.
‘RRKPK’ has a simple story where the hero and heroine fall in love instantly. Problem arises when they decided to get married. Both the families are in complete contrast with each other and the couple decides to switch families for three months in order to convince them. This leads to a lot of fun, drama and conflicts.
The trailer showcases that the movie is full of colorful frames and the entertainment quotient is going to be high. Ranveer Singh looks handsome and pulls off the happy-go-lucky role very easily. His comic timing is too good. Alia Bhatt is looking gorgeous and she is sure to take your breath away with her looks as well as her performance. The movie will have a huge star cast in the form of legendary Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and many others.
After making urban movies like ‘Student Of The Year’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Karan Johar is back to doing what he does best. He took a simple Indian story and tried to present it on a huge scale with good entertainment and emotions. While the trailer is impressive, we need to see how the movie turns out. Dharma Production and Viacom18 are jointly producing this flick while Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy have provided the story and screenplay. Ishita Moitra penned the dialogues while Pritam composed the music.
