YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju doesn’t hold back when it comes to silencing those who comment against him. This is the exact thing that has now happened, following the reports that were published about his Hyderabad residence being raided by the CBI on Thursday.
Speaking to the media in Delhi, RRR said that he doesn’t owe thousands of crores to any banks, as was mentioned in the news. He said that he did take loans from banks, as investment for his company Ind-Bharat, but mentioned that this loan amount is well below Rs. 4,000 Crores, of which he hasn’t even withdrawn Rs. 2,000 Crores from the bank yet.
Furthermore, RRR said that it is a little suspicious that rumors like CBI raids on his house came out very shortly after Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy met with the Prime Minister in Delhi, on October 6th. He also said that the Punjab National Bank Chairman had met with Jagan on the same day, and this Chairman owes Rs. 43,000 Crores to various banks, and added that this could be why allegations of RRR owing Rs. 23,000 Crores have surfaced.
RRR even said that his lawyers had advised him to file cases against those responsible for these allegations, but RRR said that he felt it was futile to file cases against those who were anyway going to go to jail within the next few months. RRR even said that he is ready to answer to the CBI, if necessary.
RRR said that Praveen Prakash used his contacts in the Union Finance Ministry to raise these allegations against him. RRR even said that despite getting him into YSRCP by force, he only got his Minister ticket after the interference of Prashanth Kishore. He added that there’s a lot of discrimintation within the party, and that a part of the party is busy criticising the Judiciary. Finally, he added that there was no use to AP with what Jagan was up to.
