#RTCStrike: KCR’s deadline ends, what next?

Telangana CM KCR’s deadline for protesting TSRTC employees has ended last night. The employees haven’t come down while we hear that only 373 employees have joined their services which is not even one percent.

209 employees of Bus Bhavan have joined their duties while 164 employees across several depots are back. With the deadline concluding, what decision will CM KCR is take is something everyone is looking at. As announced by himself, KCR might go ahead with inviting private travel operators in the next few days. About 5000 buses are likely to be made private and RTC’s future would be almost over.

However, KCR’s plan might get break in the form of Telangana High Court. Cases pro and against TSRTC strike is pending in the court and the next hearing is scheduled on November 7th.

Meanwhile RTC employees have intensified their protests. From Wednesday morning employees are staging agitations across the several depots in the state. BJP and Left parties too joined protesting RTC employees at few places.
