There will be issues popping up between directors, actors and producers at various times, and to facilitate the discussion we have unions like Movie Artists Association, Directors Association and Producers Union. There are many other unions too, but sometimes these unions simply cover up some major news too.
A week ago, we hear that a couple of assistant directors who are working on Prabhas’ Saaho are said to have approached the Telugu Film Directors Association with a unique complaint. As per the word, Saaho makers under the instructions of Prabhas are said to have roped in more Assistant Directors (ADs) from Mumbai but not from Tollywood.
Complaining that they are losing livelihood if ADs are also imported from Bollywood, like how they get heroines and character artists, couple of persons are said to have turned up with proofs. But the Chief Members of the association have pacified them by saying that Saaho is a big film and Prabhas is trying to take it to a national level with all the might. And they have asked these Telugu ADs to cool down.
Well, acquiring talents from various languages will not be an issue for sure, but local talents should be equally encouraged. Hope that is happening.
