According to sources, Nani is keen to temporarily step away from his action-oriented image and explore a heartwarming, emotion-driven narrative — a space where Tamil filmmakers often excel. “Prem Kumar is celebrated for crafting deeply moving stories. Films like 96 and Meiyazhagan, starring Arvind Swami and Karthi, were lauded for their gentle, empathetic characters, standing out in an era dominated by hyper-masculine heroes,” the source explains.

Nani has long been praised for his performance-oriented roles. His recent success, Hi Nanna — a tender drama about a father and child — reaffirmed his strength in emotional storytelling. “Nani is an exceptionally versatile actor and will once again showcase his acting prowess.
