Bellamkonda Sai’s Bold Challenge for Kishkindhapuri
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is currently gearing up for the promotions of his upcoming movie, Kishkindhapuri, directed by Kaushik Pegallapati, which is set to release on the 12th of this month. While the film’s buzz seems to be building slowly, Bellamkonda made a bold claim, stating that he would quit the film industry if audiences check their phones after the first ten minutes of the movie.
He explained, “For me, a film’s success is measured by how engrossed the audience is. If they are not distracted and don’t touch their phones, that’s a success. I’m confident Kishkindhapuri will achieve this.” He further added, “If viewers use their phones after ten minutes into the film, I will leave the industry.”
Bellamkonda also highlighted the hard work invested by him and his team to deliver a compelling cinematic experience. This is not the first time he has made such audacious statements. For his previous film, Bhairavam, he claimed the climax would surpass the impact of Kanthara. While opinions were mixed after the release, with a few appreciating the climax, the comparison didn’t entirely resonate.
Now, all eyes are on whether Bellamkonda will truly stand by his statement or if it was just an emotional remark. Billed as a horror entertainer, Kishkindhapuri is set to clash with Mirai this coming Friday at the box office.
