The Telugu film industry is witnessing a surge in high-budget productions, with filmmakers investing heavily in elaborate action sequences to captivate audiences. Notably, several upcoming films are incorporating water-based action scenes, showcasing the industry’s commitment to delivering grand cinematic experiences.

In Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Pawan Kalyan portrays an ancient warrior in a 17th-century setting. The film features a high-octane war sequence where his character battles against 1,000 men, marking a significant highlight of the movie.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, SSMB 29 stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film includes an ambitious boat action sequence, choreographed by international stunt coordinators, involving over 3,000 participants. This sequence is part of the film’s epic jungle adventure narrative.

In Devara: Part 1, Jr NTR underwent extensive training for an underwater action sequence. The production team constructed a massive pool in Hyderabad, where they filmed underwater scenes over approximately 30–35 days, emphasizing the sequence’s importance in the film.

Following the success of Hanuman, Teja Sajja returns with the superhero film Mirai, directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni. The movie features a significant water action sequence shot on a lavish scale. Mirai is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 1, 2025.

Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta and starring Chiranjeevi, includes an intense muddy water fight sequence. Chiranjeevi dedicated 26 days to filming this scene, which stands as one of the longest action sequences of his career.
