Actor Sachin Joshi who acted as hero in various films like ‘Orey Pandu’, ‘Nee Jathaga Nenundaali’ and others has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after questioning for several hours due to his alleged connections with the money laundering probe.
He was arrested on Sunday night and ED officials revealed this information themselves. As we know, Sachin is the son of Gutkha baron Jagadish Joshi. He will be presented before the local court and an official claimed that he got arrested due to his involvement in money laundering probe related to Omkar group.
His offices and houses were searched by the Income Tax department. On 27th January, Omkar Group Chairman Kamal Gupta and Managing Director Babu Lal Verma were arrested under the PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act), 2002.
