Sai Reddy Blames Jagan’s Inner Circle for YSRCP Exit

For over a decade, Vijaya Sai Reddy was considered the closest confidant of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy — a key figure in the YSRCP inner circle. However, after the 2024 elections, everything changed. Sai Reddy found himself ousted from the party, and now he is openly speaking out, placing the blame on the people surrounding Jagan.

In a recent media interaction, Sai Reddy claimed that a select group close to Jagan systematically misled him. “They fed Jagan false narratives about me — that I was plotting to take over the party, that I looted thousands of crores. These lies tarnished my image and destroyed the trust Jagan had in me,” he said.

The comments came after Sai Reddy appeared before the CID in connection with the liquor scam case, a day after skipping the earlier summons. Reflecting on his political journey, he remarked, “From being the number two in the party, I was pushed down to the 2000th rank by those who wanted me out. I remained loyal to Jagan, but the mental harassment and betrayal forced me to walk away from the YSRCP.”

While he didn’t name specific individuals in Jagan’s coterie, Sai Reddy’s remarks hint at serious internal conflicts. “If I name them, the real picture will emerge,” he said, adding to the speculation.

As for the liquor scam investigation, Sai Reddy continues to point fingers at Raj Kasireddy. Reports suggest that today’s questioning may have revolved around the same lead.

This explosive fallout between two of the YSRCP’s most prominent faces is sending ripples through Andhra Pradesh’s political landscape — with more revelations likely to follow.
