While it is still November, the entire movie world is talking about the box-office clash between ‘Salaar’ and ‘Dunki’. Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have teamed up for the first time in ‘Dunki’ which is going to be a heartwarming tale with good entertainment. SRK’s film is hitting the big screens on 21st December while ‘Salaar’ is releasing on 22nd under massive hype.
As we know, the team of ‘Salaar’ already announced that the trailer will be coming out on 1st December and the fans have already begun the countdown on social media. With Prabhas’ film taking over the internet, fans of SRK have also started a trend on Twitter claiming that the second drop of ‘Dunki’ will be coming out on the 22nd. The fan wars are getting pretty heated as Prabhas fans are pointing out ‘Baahubali’ collections while SRK fans are mocking over the fact that the ‘Mirchi’ hero had three back-to-back disasters.
Shah Rukh fans are also claiming that their hero delivered two successive 1000 crore films in a single year. Though SRK delivered two successive 1000 crore films, ‘Dunki’ is something different from ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’. It is a Rajkumar Hirani film that has a strong story and touching emotions laced with entertainment. Though it may end up as a classic for ages, it is not something that you expect to collect 1000 crores according to many.
While fans can keep on arguing, a regular movie lover is eagerly waiting to watch these two projects. While ‘Salaar’ is a mass action film, ‘Dunki’ is entirely different from it. So, neutral audiences are ready to enjoy both on the Christmas weekend. Let us hope these two giant films succeed at the box office.
