South siren Samantha Ruth Prabhu is super busy with a series of big-budget films in both Tollywood and Bollywood. She is now filming for Yashoda, which marks her first film since the divorce. She recently signed a deal for her second web series.
The latest buzz is that Samantha will play the female lead opposite Karthi Sivakumar’s next which will be directed by Sathish Selvakumar of Bachelor fame. The film is said to be scripting stage and it will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
“The talks are in a preliminary stage and Samantha hasn’t signed the dotted lines yet,” reports revealed. An official statement regarding the same is awaited.
Meanwhile, Samantha is waiting for the release of Gunasekhar’s magnum opus Shaakuntalam. On the other side, Karthi is currently working on Viruman and Sardar. He will soon be seen in Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam.
