Unlike many other heroines who confined themselves to the balcony of their new sweet home in the name of marital bliss, new age actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu broke shackles when it comes to acting in films post marriage. Guess what, she has a slew of films in her kitty.
Starting with Rangasthalam, she will be seen in Mahanati as well in Telugu, while her Tamil films list includes Abhimanyudu, Super Deluxe and Siva Karthikeyan’s movie as well. Adding the sixth ball to this over, she will be seen in Telugu and Tamil remake of Kannada film “U-Turn” by reprising the role of Shraddha Srinath. But this last film has another tale to tell.
Earlier some reports indicated that Samantha went all the way to Bangalore along with Naga Chaitanya to catch this film in a theatre. Later she spoke to producer and expressed her interest to remake it in Telugu and Tamil. She’s even heard producing this film in association with Annapurna Studios banner. However, in the end, a new production house is bankrolling the project.
Comments are being heard about Samantha not interested to risk her hard earned money on this film though the production costs beyond 1 crore only. Sources close to her, however, maintained that she’s an unofficial partner with the production house Srinivasa Silver Screen and is not taking remuneration but only a share of profits.
