For the past few months, media circles have been abuzz with rumours surrounding actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. The duo, who have been seen together on several occasions and often appear in each other’s social media posts, have never officially addressed these speculations.
Their professional association, however, continues to grow stronger. After collaborating on successful projects like The Family Man 2 and Citadel: Honey Bunny, where Samantha played key roles and Raj was involved in creative production, the two have now teamed up once again for a new Telugu film titled Maa Inti Bangaram.
The film’s shoot began today with a traditional pooja ceremony in Hyderabad, attended by the core team. Samantha will produce the project under her banner Tralala Motion Pictures, marking one of her most ambitious ventures yet. The movie will be directed by Nandini Reddy, with Himank Duvvuru as co-producer and Raj Nidimoru serving as the creative producer.
Samantha shared pictures from the pooja on her social media handles, where Raj was also seen alongside her — once again fueling speculation about their alleged relationship. The photos quickly went viral, with fans and media alike discussing the bond between the actress and the filmmaker.
On the professional front, Maa Inti Bangaram marks Samantha’s comeback to Telugu cinema in a lead role after a brief hiatus. The film is currently in production and is expected to hit screens in 2026.
