Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, known as much for her compassion as for her cinematic accomplishments, continues to inspire through her philanthropic initiatives. Her NGO, Pratyusha Support, founded in 2014, has been a steady source of hope for underprivileged women and children, offering them medical, emotional, and financial assistance.
This Diwali, Pratyusha Support hosted its annual ‘Light of Joy’ celebration in Hyderabad, bringing together over 250 children from various orphanages and NGOs for an evening filled with happiness and togetherness. The event featured games, fun-filled activities, and a heartfelt ‘Gratitude Activity’, where children expressed what they were thankful for. As the sun set, hundreds of diyas illuminated the venue—symbolizing hope, love, and new beginnings.
Samantha, along with Dr. Manjula Anagani, co-founder of Pratyusha Support, personally interacted with the children, spreading festive warmth and joy. Over the years, the organization has made a meaningful impact through vaccination and awareness drives, nutritional aid, medical funding for critical illnesses, and menstrual hygiene programs—touching countless lives across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
On the professional front, Samantha recently made a special appearance in Subham. Her upcoming projects include Maa Inti Bangaram—her first home production set to commence filming soon—and Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
