But the biggest news about her is the rumored differences between Samantha and Naga Chaitanya.
Ever since they got married in 2017, the couple has given relationship goals to people. They were the perfect young couple till a few weeks back. It all started when Samantha decided to take off ‘Akkineni’ name from her social media handles. This created a huge stir and fans are curious to know the reason why, the gossipmongers started spreading rumors about their alleged split and some even went a step ahead by claiming that Chay and Sam applied for divorce. She is getting a lot of inquiries on her personal life on social media but Sam chose to remain silent. Sam’s absence at Nag’s birthday bash where all the family members were present added fuel to the rumors. Despite all the fuss, Samantha doesn’t want to react and looks like she is enjoying these rumors.
These kinds of controversies are not new to Samantha. During the early days of her career, she spoke against a poster of Mahesh’s Babu’s film which she found very discriminating towards women. She faced a lot of heat from Mahesh’s fans at that time. Recently, she was bashed by the Tamil associations for portraying a controversial role of an LTTE agent ‘Raji’ in the popular Hindi web series ‘Family Man 2’. During one of her interviews, she said that she doesn’’t want to react to them and claimed, “I will not be bulldozed into saying something.”
Samantha will be seen in the title role of Gunasekhar’s upcoming high-budget mythological drama ‘Shaakunthalam’. Sam completed her part and she will be seen in a strong role. Apart from them, she is also working with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ which is directed by Vignesh Shivan.
