It is known that Samantha Akkineni is working on a Tamil film that also features star actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the other lead roles.
Nayanthara’s fiance Vignesh Shivan is directing this film which has been titled ‘Kathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ and it is billed to be a comedy caper. The latest news is that this film is heading for direct to digital release.
Apparently, the makers of the Vignesh Shivan directorial have commenced talks with Disney Hotstar and a deal has been struck already.
In all likelihood, Kathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal will be premiering on Disney Hotstar on the 4th of November. An official announcement on the same will be made shortly.
This is Samantha’s maiden direct to digital film. Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara had sever direct to OTT releases already.
