Kannada actor Ragini Dwivedi, who was captured in the Sandalwood drug scandal on September 4, blended water in her urine test and gave it over to the Biomedical specialists who were leading a drug test on her.
According to a report, the entertainer was taken to the KC General Hospital in Malleswaram, Bangalore on Thursday for a drug identification test for her alleged involvement in drug ring. The biochemists felt the urine sample given by Ragini was tainted and educated the CCB official who was probing the case.
Accused Ragini, Sanjana and six others were interrogated at length by CCB officials and Bangalore joint Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil for distributing contraband and synthetic drugs. He gathered details of who came to the parties and when they were held.
Ragini and Sanjana revealed sons of some politicians claiming to be drug addicts. It is learned that the CCB police have decided to issue notices to the them as per the details revealed by them during the interrogation. A celebrity party planner Viren was also nabbed at home, who is believed to be close to Ragini. A fake police uniform has been found at his residence and the case is being investigated.
