In an exclusive interview with Deccan Chronicle, Bollywood star Sara Ali Khan shared her excitement about her upcoming film ‘Metro…In Dino’, her on-screen chemistry with Aditya Roy Kapur, and the much-loved song ‘Aur Mohabbat Kitni Karoon’.
When asked about her look in the song, Sara revealed, “The look is entirely Basu da’s brainchild. It’s very real — not overly glamorous — and reflects my character, an easy-breezy girl figuring out life. I haven’t had the opportunity to showcase this kind of urban authenticity before.”
Reflecting on the positive audience response, Sara said, “I feel truly overwhelmed and grateful. The song, its vibe, and my look have all been so warmly received. It’s special when a song feels so genuine and connects emotionally with the audience.”
Discussing her co-star, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara gushed, “Adi is incredibly relaxed and spontaneous as an actor. He puts everyone around him at ease, allowing natural chemistry to happen. Working with him was an absolute pleasure.”
Finally, sharing her excitement for the film’s release on July 4, Sara added, “I’m especially thrilled because this is my first time working with Anurag Basu sir. Growing up admiring his films and now acting in one — it truly feels like a dream come true. From being his fan to becoming an Anurag Basu heroine, this is incredibly special for me.”
