Renowned for his swift filmmaking, Anil Ravipudi has built a reputation for completing projects in just six to seven months—a remarkable feat in Tollywood, where many films take over a year and a half even with minimal visual effects. His latest venture, featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi, was launched only two months ago, with nearly 50% of the shoot reportedly already completed.

The film, slated for a Sankranthi 2026 release, also stars Nayanthara and Catherine Tresa in pivotal roles, with Venkatesh making a special guest appearance. However, the ongoing cine workers’ strike has disrupted production schedules across the industry, halting most projects, including Ravipudi’s. While some producers have managed to continue filming by paying premium wages, the majority have come to a standstill.

Despite these hurdles, Ravipudi remains optimistic about maintaining his trademark efficiency and meeting the Sankranthi release deadline. The industry now watches closely to see if the director can deliver another on-time blockbuster.
