“Sarrainodu”, the first film in the combination of Allu Arjun and director Boyapati Srinivas, is now in theatres all over the world. Amidst huge expectations, the movie hit the screens.But the numbers for the movie in USA are so dull. Collections for premiere shows in USA are the lowest for a big star movie in the recent times.The movie has collected around $1,80,000 from premiere shows that can be termed as disastrous start.
If the movie has to bring in profits, it has to pick up its collections over the weekend.Even utter flop movies like Ram Charan’s “Bruce Lee” had better start with premiere shows than “Sarrainodu”. For a star like Allu Arjun who has delivered two million-dollars movies earlier, this is not the start one expects.
The trailers and the name of Boyapati who is synonymous with mass-oriented movies seems to have not enthused the NRI audiences.”Sarrainodu” was bought for about Rs 6 Cr for the overseas rights.
