Tollywood star hero, Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan started chanting Swadesi mantra. The reactions from the netizens on social media are not so positive. Many of them started posting satirical comments on him.
Pawan Kalyan has decided to act as a brand ambassador for Atma Nirbhar Bharath that has been taken up prestigiously by Narendra Modi’s government.
As part of his initiative, he is going to take up awareness programs along with Jana Sena’s alliance partner BJP. He revealed that he is going to start this campaign from Ganesh Chaturthi.
He said that Atma Nirbhar Bharath means our products, our employment, and our development. Pawan’s concept is wonderful. By using our local products, everybody will get employment and the country’s income will be increased.
The netizens are raising several objections to Pawan’s slogan. Let us have a look at those things.
If we talk about mobile phones, the majority of phones are foreign brands. Especially celebrities like Pawan Kalyan use foreign-made mobiles. If we talk about cars, except for Maruthi, Tata and Mahindra brands all luxury cars are foreign. What is the make of Pawan’s car?
Pawan regularly uses Fitflop footwear (The pair he used in Attaritinki Daaredi, it has become popular after Pawan used them) and it is not an Indian brand. What is the footwear he is using now?
If we keep on talking, there will be the brand of AC in Pawan’s home, home appliances, and many other things like floor tiles etc. Are those Indian brands?
