School Bus with YSRCP Men Kills Four

In a fatal road accident at Rajahmundry’s Morampudi junction, a speeding school bus boarded by YSRCP partymen, heading towards YS Jagan’s Deeksha in Tanuku, lost its control and rammed into commuters. It claimed four lives so far and three others’ condition is said to be in critical.
Three bikes and a car were severely damaged. One version of the story is that the bus was stopped at a nearby liquor shop. The bus dirver was taken into custody. It needs to be seen whether driver was drunk or not.
However, claiming innocence, driver stated that the accident was caused due to sudden failure of brakes. Incidentally, it was a school bus but it was hired by YSRCP partymen for their president’s protest in Tanuku.
According to RTA rules, school buses should not be used for private purposes and the speed of the bus should not cross 40 Kmph at the junctions. Though it’s a major accident that took away the lives of people and pushed their families into despair, YS Jagan not even uttering a word about the accident at his Deeksha set tongues wagging.
Despite the intensity of incident and strong rules that school buses should not be used for other works, YSRCP activists hiring the bus is now being questioned by social activists. Activists are demanding police to order for a detailed probe on the incident and investigate on the passengers inside bus whether they’re drunk or not.
