In a cold blooded murder, Nalgonda Municipal Chairperson Lakshmi’s husband Boddupalli Srinivas has been brutally killed by unknown persons on Wednesday night in the town. Srinivas, a Congress party worker, is a close aide of Komatireddy Venkatreddy.
Learning about Srinivas’ murder, Komatireddy Venkatreddy rushed to his home to see his body. Upon seeing Srinivas’ dead body, Komatireddy Venkatreddy broke into tears. Speaking to media later, Komatireddy said he believe that there are influential people behind Srinivas murder. He alleged that police people are responsible for Srinivas’ death as they ‘failed’ to provide security to him despite complaining to police about death threats to him.
Meanwhile, Komatireddy Venkatreddy has called for the district bandh due to Srinivas killing. He demanded police, government to do a thorough investigation and punish the culprits severely.
