TDP founder NTR’s son Harikrishna for long tried to take over the party, thus liberating it from the iron clutches of Chandrababu. However he failed in his mission and sometime back he even left the party to start his own Ana Telugudesam. But his move did not find support from people and he had to bite dust and patch up with Babu, who sent him to Rajya Saba as MP.Seetayya as he is lovingly known as started waiting for the opportunity to strike at Babu and the mistrust between them is there for everyone to see. Harikrishna along with his son NTR is trying to wrest control over the party, but Chandra Babu roped in his brother Balakrishna to counter him.
Naidu gradually stopped giving importance to him and more recently rumors flew in that Harikrishna is sick and suffering from serious illness. Much to the shock of Harikrishna, Balakrishna visited his constituency. A hurt Harikrishna said he is not sick but hale and healthy. When asked who were behind the rumors, he said some vested interests are trying to divide wedge between him, Balakrishna and Naidu.This shows that all is not well for Hari in the party and the mistrust between Babu and him reached a point of no return. It is an irony that Harikrishna who instigated all to revolt against his father in support of Naidu is out of favor with him.
