Jagan Mohan Reddy has mastered himself in playing the political game. Ever Since he was sworn in as the Chief Minister, he made it a mission to destroy the remains of TDP in state and the AP capital shift from Amaravathi is one of it. Back then, he demolished the Praja Vedika built by Chandra Babu Naidu and faced severe backlash in the state.
Now, as he decided to shift the capital from Amaravati to Vishakapatnam, there have been several theories about the fate of the Velagapudi secretariat in media.
Earlier it was rumored that this building will be handed over to Acharya Nagarjuna University which is located close to Guntur town.
This is a huge building we are talking about and it needs a proper idea to hand over it for any purpose and apparently, Jagan wants to convert Amaravati into a health city with affordable healthcare to the poor people.
Earlier it was speculated that the government is going to increase the number of floors in each building and the existing campus could be expanded to more area to accommodate more buildings.
But, the grapevine is saying that Jagan is planning to make it a high-quality health care center with state of art facilities as he faced severe criticism when he did not make use of the Praja Vedhika other than destruction. Not a bad plan right?
