
Shah Rukh Khan has officially joined the billionaire club. With a career spanning over three decades, Bollywood’s “Badshah” retained the top spot in the Hurun India Rich List 2025, released on October 1.
The annual report by the Hurun Research Institute ranks India’s leading celebrities across industries based on their net worth. According to the list, “Shah Rukh Khan (59) joins the billionaire club for the first time with a wealth of ₹12,490 crore,” making him the wealthiest Bollywood celebrity in 2025.
Juhi Chawla and her family hold the second position with ₹7,790 crore, followed by Hrithik Roshan at ₹2,160 crore. Karan Johar and Amitabh Bachchan occupy the fourth and fifth spots respectively.
SRK made his debut on the list in 2024 with an estimated wealth of ₹7,300 crore at the age of 58. His fortune comes not only from his blockbuster films but also from his production house Red Chillies Entertainment and ownership stakes in the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.
Shah Rukh is also among India’s most-followed celebrities, boasting 43.9 million followers on X (formerly Twitter) and 48.6 million on Instagram. Adding to his accolades, 2025 saw him win his first National Award for Best Actor for Jawan. The 2023 blockbuster, which earned over ₹1,000 crore at the domestic box office, further cemented his status as the undisputed king of Bollywood, both on and off screen.
