New Delhi: Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is all set to grace the red carpet of the Met Gala 2025, marking his much-anticipated debut at fashion’s biggest night. The superstar will be seen wearing a custom creation by celebrated Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, known globally for blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.
While speculation around the actor’s Met Gala look had been circulating, the collaboration was officially confirmed on Monday morning by Shah Rukh’s longtime manager, Pooja Dadlani. She took to Instagram Stories, posting the Sabyasachi logo with captions “King Khan” and “King Khan. Bengal Tiger,” hinting at the grandeur of the outfit. Sabyasachi’s official account later reposted the same, further confirming the association.
Adding to the buzz, the designer’s brand had earlier shared a teaser on Sunday with the caption “Namaste New York,” fueling excitement among fans and fashion enthusiasts. Social media videos also showed Shah Rukh arriving in New York on Saturday, accompanied by Pooja Dadlani.
Joining him on the global stage will be fellow Indian stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, both of whom are also making their Met Gala debut this year — signaling a significant moment for Indian representation on the international fashion scene.
