Actor Shahid Kapoor who wrapped up his upcoming Jersey after great difficulty in these troubled times looks more determined to sign new projects. It is learnt that he is soon going to be featured in an Amazon Prime original series. The web series will be directed by Raj and DK and also happens to be Shahid Kapoor’s debut on the OTT platform.
It turns out that Shahid is going to be part of a multistarrer project with dynamic Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi. The sources report that Vijay Sethupathi has been brought on board for a key role in the series, believed to be amping up the entertainment factor.
Raj and DK who are doing an action thriller seem to have huge plans to bring both the actors on one screen. The team are eyeing to film starting from January in Mumbai and Goa. This action flick will have 6-7 episodes starring Shahid and Vijay, who would be pictured in an unprecedented way.
The yet to be titled show will also mark Vijay’s debut in a series on the OTT platform and indeed it is the first time for the duo to share the screen space together. Their remunerations are learnt to be exorbitant and hence proving to be a costly affair for the makers.
