Director Shekar Kammula is known for making feel-good romantic movies like Happy Days and Godavari.
Next he attempted a political drama , Leader which was quite successful. If reports are to be believed then Shekar Kammula’s next after Love Story is going to be an out and out thriller.
Apparently the director is trying to step out of his comfort zone and try out the thriller genre. Sekhar had tried his at this genre before as he had made Anamika, the Telugu-Tamil remake of the award-winning Bollywood thriller Kahaani.
Actress Nayanatara reprised Vidya Balan’s role in this version of the film. However, confirmation from the director regarding his future projects is awaited and the shoot for Love Story has also ceased due to the current lockdown.
