Shilpa Shirodkar recently addressed questions regarding Mahesh Babu’s lack of social media posts while she was on Bigg Boss. She made it clear that social media activity doesn’t determine the strength of relationships. “Just because someone doesn’t post about you doesn’t mean they don’t care,” she stated, brushing off any speculations.
Shilpa also emphasized that she joined Bigg Boss to prove her own worth, not because of her connection to the family. “I wasn’t there as Namrata’s sister or Mahesh Babu’s relative. He is a superstar, but that doesn’t define my career,” she said, underlining her desire to make her own mark in the industry. She further clarified that Mahesh and Namrata are private individuals who support their family in their own way.
Reflecting on her career, Shilpa shared a regret about losing the Chaiya Chaiya song opportunity. “I was the first choice, but they replaced me because I was considered overweight,” she admitted. Despite this, she remains proud of her contributions to films like Hum and Gopikishan.
Ultimately, Shilpa believes that relationships go beyond the digital world, and while Mahesh Babu may not have posted about her, she knows he’s there when it truly matters.
