Actress Shilpa Shirodkar, Mahesh Babu’s sister-in-law, is back in the spotlight after sharing some heartfelt personal moments in a recent interview. She reflected on the incredibly difficult year Mahesh Babu endured — losing both his parents and his brother — yet staying strong for the entire family.
Shilpa praised Mahesh as one of the kindest souls she knows, highlighting how he continues to support everyone around him while silently bearing his own pain. “He never shows what he’s going through, always thinking of others first,” she said.
She also spoke lovingly about her bond with Mahesh’s wife, Namrata Shirodkar. Their relationship, she said, deepened after Shilpa’s own parents passed away. “Namrata showers me with so much love — sometimes, I feel she loves me more than her own kids,” she shared, calling their bond one of true sisterhood that goes far beyond the glitz of fame.
In a lighter yet unsettling recollection, Shilpa revisited a bizarre moment from her film career. While promoting her 1995 movie Raghuveer, a false rumour spread that she had been shot on set. The shocking news caused a wave of panic, with her phone flooded by missed calls and frantic messages. “My entire family was in chaos before I could tell them I was safe,” she recalled. That unsettling incident came back to her recently during her stint on Bigg Boss 18.
With honesty and grace, Shilpa continues to connect with fans by sharing stories that reveal the emotional strength behind the glamour.
