In a near horrific incident to the passengers of a flight, a passenger is said to have tried to open the emergency door midway. Moreover, the person who did this is an educated person and is a techie by profession.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, the unexpected incident happened on the Air France flight which was bound to reach Bengaluru from Paris. The issue became a hot topic and a case was also filed against him for his actions as per the rules.
The person who did this is reportedly identified as Venkat Mohit Pathipati who works as a techie with a tech firm in the United States. He was on his way to meet his relatives. When he tried to open the emergency door, the other passengers faced a big shock and were struck by fear.
Fortunately, nothing happened as he was stopped by the Cabin crew. After the flight reached the Bengaluru flight, a case has been filed by the cops for what he did. He was arrested by the authorities. However, it is said that the techie was released on bail later.
Following the procedure, the accused was grilled by the cops and reports say that he told them he casually did this and he was checking how the alarm system works. This is said to have surprised the authorities and cops. An investigation is underway and more details are awaited.
