Recently, an interesting revelation about Shreleela came to light on Jagapathi Babu’s show Jayammu Nischayammura. The actor shared details about Shreleela’s mother, Dr. Swarnalatha, and her efforts to nurture her daughter’s dancing talent.
Swarnalatha revealed how junior NTR inspired her to train Shreleela in dance. During the show, she shared a beautiful still of NTR practicing Kuchipudi and explained the story behind it. She recalled that the moment she decided she wanted her daughter to learn dance, NTR became a source of inspiration. When asked if she had met NTR in person, she mentioned a meeting in 1997 in Los Angeles during a conference, where she spoke to him and later trained Shreleela in dance exactly as planned.
During the show, host Jagapathi Babu playfully teased Shreleela, saying, “You’re rising as a heroine, grabbing many opportunities, aren’t you?” The episode featured many interesting anecdotes shared by Shreleela and her mother, Swarnalatha.
