Glamorous heroine Shriya Saran was not seen in Tollywood for a long time. She lastly appeared in ‘Veerabhoga Vasantha Raayalu’ and gave a guest appearance in ‘NTR-Kathanayakudu’. The latest gossip in the tinsel town is that she is all set to surprise us with her role in the most prestigious ‘RRR’.
Director Rajamouli worked earlier with Shriya in ‘Chatrapathi’. He reportedly roped her in to play an important role in this film. Rumour is that she will be paired with Bollywood star hero Ajay Devgn in this film. Ajay Devgn is playing a crucial part in this film and Shriya’s scenes will be with him say the gossipmongers. If this news turns out to be true, it will give a great boost to Shriya and her fading career.
Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran acted as husband and wife earlier in the Hindi remake of ‘Drishyam’ with the same name. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt is the heroine in this film along with Olivia Morris. Keeravani is composing the music while DVV Danayya is bankrolling this 400 crore project. Since it is Rajamouli’s immediate film after ‘Baahubali’ series, the expectations are sky-high.
