Actress Shriya Saran has issued a strong warning on Instagram after discovering that someone has been impersonating her online. Sharing the fake profile on her Instagram story, she called out the individual for misleading people and wasting everyone’s time.
Shriya wrote, “Whoever this idiot is, please stop writing to people and wasting time! This is weird. I feel bad that people’s time is being wasted. This is not me! Not my number!”
Adding a humorous twist, she said, “The only good thing is that this crappy person is reaching out to people I admire and would love to work with! Very strange! Why waste your time doing this? Go get a life, not someone else’s identity.”
On the professional front, Shriya Saran recently appeared in a special dance number in director Ananda Krishnan’s upcoming film Non Violence, starring Metro Shirish, Bobby Simha, and Yogi Babu. Produced by AK Pictures Lekha, the film is set in 1990s Madurai and revolves around dramatic events inside a local prison during that era.
Following the success of Ananda Krishnan’s earlier films Metro and Kodiyil Oruvan, expectations for Non Violence are notably high. The production team has reportedly invested considerable effort into recreating the 90s atmosphere with authentic detail.
The film also features Aditi Balan, Garuda Ram, and Aditya Kathir in key roles. With shooting now completed, the team is currently occupied with post-production work.
