Shruti Haasan’s fans were excited when she tweeted about her “husband” on Thursday. The actress shared a photo with Bollywood lyricist and screenwriter Niranjan Iyengar and wrote: “Game of Thrones lunch with my dearest husband @ashesinwind69 #life #truth #friends #kolsch.”
Within no time her fans flooded her with tweets about her “secret” wedding. After two hours, however, Shruti revealed that it was just a joke.
She tweeted: “Note to self — do not crack jokes on social media, no one has a sense of humour.”
