In a candid roundtable discussion on after the release of Telusu Kada, Siddhu Jonnalagadda chose honesty over hype. Skipping the usual pre-release promotions, he decided to speak post-release to engage genuinely with audience reactions.
Siddhu revealed that the film’s title was suggested by Neerja and perfectly mirrors the mindset of the protagonist, Varun. The phrase “Telusu Kada” embodies an unspoken understanding — emotions and truths felt deeply but rarely expressed.
Told from Varun’s perspective, the story explores heartbreak and internal transformation. Siddhu explained that narrating it from the female lead’s side would have made it too direct, while Varun’s viewpoint brought layers of emotion, conflict, and dramatic depth that define the film’s soul.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda shared that he intentionally skipped pre-release interviews for Telusu Kada, wanting audiences to experience the film without preconceived notions. His goal was for viewers to watch, reflect, and then engage in a genuine conversation about the story and its emotions.
Siddhu expressed gratitude to both audiences and critics for their honest feedback. He acknowledged that he resonated with many of their observations and emphasized his intent to apply those insights to his future projects.
