Siddu Jonnalagadda Returns ₹4.75 Crore After Jack Flop, Gears Up for Telusu Kada

Star hero Siddu Jonnalagadda shot to fame with the blockbuster hits DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, establishing himself as a youthful, bankable star in Telugu cinema. While Tillu Square crossed the 100-crore mark, his next film, Jack, did not live up to expectations. Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, Jack turned out to be a major disaster at the box office.

Despite the film’s flop, Siddu reportedly returned ₹4.75 crore to the producer, even though he had taken a personal loan to fund part of the project. He mentioned that he is still paying off the loan but wanted to help the producer recover from the losses. While there’s no industry rule that a hero must return remuneration for a flop film, several young actors in recent times have voluntarily done so to support producers, earning admiration from audiences. Siddu’s gesture has similarly won praise, showing his commitment to the industry and respect for the production team.

Siddu is now gearing up for his upcoming film Telusu Kada, directed by Neeraj Kona and produced by People Media Factory. The movie is set to release on October 17 and stars Srinidhi Shetty and Rashi Khanna alongside Siddu. With music by Thaman, the film’s promotional content has already generated excitement, and the released songs have received a positive response from the audience.

After the massive success of Tillu Square, expectations were high for Siddu’s next projects. Although Jack failed to meet these expectations, Telusu Kada promises a crazy love story that is thrilling the audience. Siddu appears to be stepping out of his “Tillu boy” image with this film, and fans are eagerly awaiting his subsequent projects, including another exciting film under the Sitara banner.
